Winemaker’s Comments

The 13th vintage from the Quarry Road Vineyard, this Pinot Noir spent 12 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which were new. An aromatic wine with notes of blueberry, raspberry, leather and sweet smoke. The palate is light to medium-bodied, showing flavours of wild berry, baking spice, smoke and wet leaves. There is a minerality that concludes the long finish, which is a true reflection of the terroir of the Quarry Vineyard. This is a wine that can be enjoyed now or can benefit from 3-5 years ageing.

Food Pairings

This pinot noir with its structured tannins will pair beautifully with roasted mushrooms with herbs, cedar plank salmon or grilled pork tenderloin with cherry compote.
