Winemaker’s Comments

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (44%), Cabernet Franc (30%) and Merlot (26%) was carefully sourced from select Niagara Peninsula vineyards and spent 16 months in French oak barrels. On the nose, this Cabernet Merlot entices you with aromas of currant, blackberry, roasted herbs, sweet tobacco, and underbrush. On the palate, this wine is medium-bodied, juicy and bright, and the finish is well-balanced by crisp acidity and light dusty tannins.

Food Pairings

This Medium-bodied red is delightful to pair with. Try with a classic spaghetti Bolognese, grilled pork chops, barbequed top-sirloin steak with creamy mashed potatoes.
